Hi, I'm Evgenia (Jane) Kempinski.
I'm a passionate guide, storyteller, and Jewish heritage expert with over 20 years of experience.
Born in St. Petersburg and shaped by years in Israel, I now call Barcelona my home and my inspiration.

I’ve guided Jewish heritage and general tours across Russia and Eastern Europe, and for the past six years I’ve also been giving online lectures on Jewish history in the diaspora.

My interests range from medieval Jewish manuscripts to classical and modern art, from Sephardic journeys to Ashkenazi traditions. I love uncovering the links between history, culture, and the personal stories we carry.

For me, travel is about reflection, understanding, and connection.

When we explore together, you’ll experience Barcelona and Catalonia in a warm, personal, and meaningful way.
A Story from
Medieval Barcelona:
The Sarajevo Haggadah
This is an hour-long recording of my talk on the Sarajevo Haggadah - an illuminated Jewish manuscript created in medieval Barcelona.
